In life, you may only get one chance, one opportunity, one moment to make things happen. Things come once in a lifetime. Once is enough for you to take the opportunity and run with it. Like a perfect white feather, it lands on your hand, if you don't grab a hold of it, it will slowly float away from you. You'll never get to see it again. Sometimes in life, you have to learn to be selfish and achieve things for yourself. Sure there are others that you place before you such as love, family and friends. However you are the one who makes dreams and hopes become reality. Your feet that take you on life's journey. Family and friends are like your shoes and socks. They're there to protect you and keep you warm.

Grasp a hold of every opportunity that floats by. Every feather that happens to land on your hand, clasp it and never let go because without risking a thing, opportunities will lead you to more opportunities and in this case, a change to grow and learn. Being afraid of taking chances is extremely natural and a mere fact of life. However, once you've overcome fear, you will prosper within many ways.

Once you've climbed that mountain, covered in sweat and dirt, you know how much effort you've put into slowly accomplishing your goals. Take those little baby steps to reach the peak of the mountain. When you've finally made it, take a breath and look where you're standing. Look at how many other people are standing with you...not many. Be strong and stand stable. Take chances, grasp all opportunities. Be independent and trust yourself whole heartedly.
