I wish I had posted this earlier but since I’m not in the country and haven’t had much time, I guess this is a very belated New Year dedication for all those important people that have made an important impact in 2010.
Anthony Merlin
If I had to write about you, I could honestly write a novel. If I had to thank you, well I don’t think I ever could. I don’t know how to repay you for your comfort, your advice, your love, care and simply, your presence. What more could I ask for from a brother, a brother that isn’t even blood related to me. You are one of few important people in my life that I can trust. I am so incredibly grateful that God has allowed me to meet such a person like you. For years and years you have not failed to be my brother and friend. You have taught me many of life’s lessons, and opened me up to all different kinds of perspectives. Without you, I’d be so completely lost. Out of everyone, I am happy and confident to say that I’m certain you’ll be the friend I’ll be able to keep for life and achieve great things with. I wish I could be of useful help when you most need me, but all I can provide are my words and my love that will always be with you no matter what happens. You have potential and you have the brains, achieve what you’ve always wanted to, then we can have that trip we planned ages ago which I’m looking forward to. I will always feel honored and privileged that you call me your sister and I will always feel loved and cared for as long as you remain my brother. I love you to the moon and back and I will forever be here for you as long as you need me, or even if you don’t need me at all!

My beautiful best friend, my omega, my lesbian, my white albino; I have much to say to you, but the main one is, I’m so extremely happy to be able to call you my best friend. My BIFFEL’10, which will soon become BIFFEL’11. Hopefully 2011 will bring us more excitement and more drama than 2010! You are the greatest friend I could ever ask for. I love how you understand me in every way, I also love how you’re so close to me, every time I feel like I need to cry, I could walk to you. Thank you, thank you, thank you! For EVERYTHING. For being there when I was hardly sober, for putting up with my stupid decisions that you warned me about, for letting me accidently throwing up on you and your jacket, for hugging me when I most needed it, for giving me your shoulder to lean on in public when I was bawling my eyes out, for giving me advice that I regrettably ignore, for making me smile every single time I talk and am with you, and simply; for being the best friend a human being could ever ask for. I can’t be appreciative enough for all the things you’ve done for me and I’m so happy we’ve grown so close. I could go on and on about how much I love you and how much happiness you bring me and it’d take days. I love you Omega, to the moon and around the galaxy then back. <3

You have been there every single step of the way and for that I am truly thankful. We have been through so much together, it’s insane looking back at it. We’ve had our bad times, we’ve had our good times, and all the times we’ve spent have been memorable. You’re the one I know I can turn to with anything and everything, even if it’s 3 in the morning. You’re the one that always knows what’s wrong with me just by looking at me. You’re the one that can make me cry by hugging me, and for that I hate you! But I love you more than that. For years and years you have been the person that got me through high school and I’m so happy that we’re still close friends, hopefully till the end. You’re the one that makes me laugh and cry at the same time. I love you with all my heart and can’t wait to see what 2011 will bring us. Catta, you have been there for me in so many ways and we have shared so many good times together. Summer holidays; where the wildest of things happened to the both of us, and I’m glad they were shared with you. Through the laughter, the tears, sadness and happiness, let’s just say we both experienced all those emotions in just one summer. Unfortunately I couldn’t share this summer with you, however there’s so much more to go. You’re carefree lifestyle lets me be carefree too when I’m stressed out. You’re now my stress-free ball. You have taken me with you from year 7 to year 11 and now we’ll face year 12 together. Thank you for making me smile, thank you for being a great friend and know that I’m always here for you. Thank you for being there for me when I most needed it, I love you forever! <3

I have a list of things to be thankful for when it comes to you. The most obvious is that you’re always there. You’re even there when I have technological problems; for 2 hours! Thank you for staying up with me when I needed someone to talk to, and I know I can always count on you with everything without judgment. You bring me a lot of inspiration and you’re the one that reads my writing and gives me honest opinion. I’m able to talk to you and confide in you because I trust you as a friend. I’ve known you for a year, which isn’t really that long, but I’m happy to call you a close friend. I owe you the world when it comes to advice and comforting, and I don’t know how to repay you, except with my friendship in return. Although things didn’t work out between us, I am still so glad that I was able to be your girlfriend for those few months. You were different and you were special, you brought me joy that I never thought I would be able to regain and that’s something that’s really important to me. You taught me to open p my heart again and not be afraid of the challenges that life throws at me. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to live up to your future expectations; however, I’m certain you’ll find someone who will do it better than I can. I loved being able to call you mine for that short time and I’m even more happy now that I can still be able to call you my friend. Thank you for everything <3

This year we have grown so close and I’m so happy to have such a talented friend like you. Retreat brought us really close and it also brought all your amazing talents to show. I’m honoured to be able to call you my friend, and I’m so amazed at what you can do. I’m glad to have someone in class every morning and every afternoon to talk to. You’ve been there when I needed a security blanket, and you make me feel extremely safe. I love how you randomly pop up and talk to me, and we end up having a great conversation. Retreat this year really opened up my eyes to those who are important to me. You both will always and forever remain in my heart, and we’ll always be the awesome foursome. When I hugged you at retreat, I felt like we were in year 7 again. I really miss all of us being together, I miss our movie marathons and I miss being close with you guys. But know that I love you both so much and that we’ll always be friends. We’ve truly been through thick and thin since year 7, and so much has happened to us. I’m glad that I can cry to you guys, and tell you guys things that you’ll keep to yourselves. I know I’ve made mistakes that led our friendship in the wrong direction and I feel really regretful, and I’m really sorry. My little brother! Although you’re younger than me, you seem so much wiser than me. You are one of the few people that I can talk to seriously. Someone I can talk to about anything, and you’ll somehow understand. You’re so caring and supporting, and absolutely hilarious! Thank you for making me laugh, it’s so great to know that I have you as my friend and that I know I can count on you.
My other little brother! You just make me laugh cause you’re you. I love that about you, and you’re so Asian and fat! I love talking to you because you talk about nothing at all, and yet it’s all funny to me. However, I know I can talk to you about things that I don’t usually talk about to other people. It’s very comforting when around you, and I’m happy to call you widdle brother. Haha, thank you for cheering me up when I needed it.

Ah bestie! I’ve known you a short, short period of time but I’ve come to realize that you’re a fun person to be around. You’ve made me laugh a lot and challenged me in many ways!
